It didn’t take long for Schlage to jump into the end-user, resettable lock sandbox with their SECUREKEY. The convenience that they offered the customer with their “Blue Key” reset key and end-user key change capability was, as far as marketing is concerned, a solid competitive answer to Kwikset’s offering. However, in my opinion it was an even less then stellar product and fraught with even more surprises for the customer.

Schlage no longer makes the SecureKey, but while they did, their retailers sold a blue zillion of them and there will probably be SecureKey locks for locksmith to service, rekey and replace for years to come.

This Power Point presentation AND video takes you inside of the Schlage SecureKey and shows you how they work and how you can increase your shekel intake servicing them. In this special offer you get BOTH the PowerPoint AND the video for ONLY $9.99! BOTH files are directly downloadable to your computer’s hard drive!
